As we continue to expand our programming and exhibits in the Lewis Kennedy Mansion , we realize how much the KHAC owes to our volunteers and their contribution to our continued success. This 130 year old building is filled with a timeless energy.

As a volunteer your time and talents can be used in many ways: in building renovation and operations, in publicity outreach to the community, in helping teachers with their classes. Our calendar is filled with visual arts exhibits, festivals and musical concerts, and our volunteers help make them all happen.

Give us some of your time, and you will discover a renewed sense of community through the arts.

The Kennedy Heights Art Center values our volunteers' schedules and provides very flexible hours to meet everyone's needs. We have weekday, evening and weekend volunteer opportunities.

KHAC ADULT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
For Various Ages and Schedules

The Lewis League -Individuals to help with weekday operations (phone, registrations, gift shop) and to provide tours.

Keepers of the Mansion -- Willing workers to help with yard and building maintenance.

Helping Hands -- Hospitality workers for special events. Tasks include registration table, food service, set-up and clean up.

Kennectors --Outreach workers to help with development and distribution of publicity and fundraising materials.

ArtAides --Helpers to assist teachers in art, music or dance classes.

Administrative Artisans -- Helpers to assist with membership database management, printing of mailing labels, and overseeing mailings.

Student Art Corps
Students who are interested in volunteering at the center. A variety of opportunities are available. Community service and service learning hours are available.
